I like that idea! I suspect that Methos has a plan that doesn't involve working for the SGC in order to rescue his son while the NID provides a distraction, but I'm not sure what. Too bad he probably can't get control of an Asguard ship or he could beam his son out, leaving everyone else clueless about what just happened.
