Ooh, always glad to pull people back into my various plots. The Immortals just don't know that they're trial runs for a failed alien race, and the whole point of their existence is to out-grow The Game. The more I think about it, the funnier it gets.

Although I'm also reminded of "What Can You Say About Chocolate Covered Manhole Covers?" by Larry Niven. Being part of an alien genetics experiment does not generally lead to a fun-filled time.
