And Erik and Charles are both trying to convince the teacher of the amazing political speeches he could make. And someone else is trying to convince hm to become an evangelical preacher and traveling religious revivalist. And someone else is trying to get him to go to Hollywood. And he's like, but I like living in a small town and teaching geometry to kids. And Methos finally has to step in and tell everyone to back off and stop harassing the teacher, and reassures him that it's okay to be "just a guy."

And the BAU are watching this all and thinking, hmm, who exactly would this sheriff be if he weren't being "just a guy"?
