This seems fun... but you could also add Oz to it, he has been scouted by several companies out of high school and didn't go to any one, and his style would be closer to the hackers but not... and in my mind after all that happened he and Willow would still keep in touch.

I like the differences and the plotline, but isn't the slayer academy allied with the military branch Riley Finn works at? (or is that from the too many fanfics I have read?) and Willow might have some alarms in place to see if someone had messed with her files or any of the scoobies and assume it was much larger than a prank because of recent supernatural badness and so when the branch of the armed forces that wants her dead domes knocking there is the surprise and then the whole saving willow thing and unmaking the changes
and all.
