HI, first off, I love your writing, you're definitely my favourite fanfic author! As for plot bunnies in regards to Valdemar, there's this idea I can't get rid of but, as I'm hopeless at writing something that doesn't put people to sleep, I'm hoping you might want to give it a try or know someone else that could. The idea: somewhere in either "Exile's Honor" or "Exile's Valor" there's a brief mention of Alberich having a chest of odd items, most of which he assumes to be some form of weaponry, although some could be obscure farm equipment for all he knows. He plans to someday go through it and figure it out. For some reason I keep seeing Alberich and Methos bonding ( with beer??) over this chest of 'odd stuff', I mean surely Methos would know a lot about it? or at least have a good tale or two to tell?
Idea number 2: (mini idea) Mention in Mage storm trilogy how one of the 'dyheli' (not sure I spelt that right - don't have my books handy) anyway, one of the 'dyheli' is able to get into a persons head and give them an instant 'language lesson' ie implant knowledge and inderstanding of another language directly and in a very short period of time - great for diplomatic situations, side effect - major migraine, immagine if he/she tried that on Methos ( I'm guessing he arrived unexpectedly and no one understands him and vice versa) I'm betting it would backfire and the 'poor' 'dyheli' would get the headache plus more languages than he/she could handle. Could make for a funny short story.
