I imagine, if Jack made the demand, the Asguard would blink at him and say that he (Jack) had already demanded that they not remove anyone from the SGC.
Jack goes, what?
And it turns out that two of the linguists are immortals and actually good friends from back in the days (of Pharaohs) and they get along fine with that one cook that everyone loves who controls the cafeteria with an iron fist much like he did the kitchens of Versailles. And a couple of the soldiers are pre-immortals, and possibly one staff member has an adopted kid who's pre-immortal.
And then it becomes a whole issue of: there was an alien invasion. It happened and it was successful and now they're integrated. How do we un-integrate them?
And Daniel points out that if they're un-integrating everyone who might not be strictly human, then Jack himself is in a questionable position given his ancient abilities.
