I agree which is why I am now more and more getting into satirical and funny books... the same stories but making fun of themselves!
Oh yes discussing good and virtue would be boring after a while and the only thing they could argue over is whenever long hair or baldness is better and who had the most annoying best friend! Which I find to be funny because Methos claims Joe is his best friend on a few occasions.
and that conversation would go on marvelously... the professor might help Duncan deal with his judgmental nature
