At the end, one of them can ask for an extension on their homework because they were too busy saving the world and Willow and Oz can look at them like they're crazy. "Of course you have to keep up with your homework at the same time. And come on, it isn't even apocalypse season so really you should be trying to get ahead because May is just going to be worse."
I like the idea of Razor and Blade knowing pretty much everything that Willow and Oz have done along with all their names. I can also see them knowing all about the supernatural. If they're that elite, then they surely know a heck of a lot of secrets. They just don't find the secrets themselves as interesting as the process of discovering them or else they'd be very rich (or very dead) blackmailers rather than uber cool hackers. Maybe they invite Willow and Oz to the club. If I remember right, they pretty much live in a club. Come to think of it, do you think they could be demons of a more benign variety?
So Dade and Kate see Willow and Oz at the club and wonder how they even managed to get in since it's clearly not Willow's scene and as odd as Oz looks, he's like a quiet center in the middle of all the whirl. Only later do our hackers realize that the strangers were special guests of Razor and Blade.
At the end of the TV show, Willow was dating a Slayer named Kennedy. Fandom doesn't seem to like her, calling her too bratty and not sweet like Tara. I liked Kennedy, but then I thought Tara was a bit of a milksop.
So ways to get Kennedy out of the way:
1. Kill her off (being a Slayer is dangerous, so it would hardly be surprising, plus it would give Willow a reason to mourn and thus scare the government)
2. Have them fight and a nasty break-up (I don't much care for this option),
3. Have them both move on with their lives apart (they're young, they dated and then they stopped dating, it happens. This way as the virtue of being something I haven't seen in a fic before.)
or 4. Kennedy is missing and they think Wolfram & Hart might know what happened. Which is why they need to hack their system.
How about this: There's an apocalypse in May that was really bad. Willow had to do a massively dangerous spell that involved dark magics and whatnot and it was bad. A lot of people died and more people went missing in the aftermath. Wolfram & Hart may have been involved somehow. Kennedy is one of the missing and/or dead people. Willow needs to go through magical detox before May roles around again and since Slayer HQ is also magic central, she decides it's an optimal time to get her teaching certificate in New York. The Scoobies left behind try to attack W&H the old fashioned way. Willow decides it's time to attack it her old fashioned way: with computers. In the end, they rescue Kennedy and everyone. With time to spare before May comes again with its finals and apocalypses.
Does Willow end up in a relationship with Kennedy, with Oz, with a hacker, or none of the above?
And possibly a few of our favorite hackers get job offers with the Slayer HQ for ongoing assistance after they graduate.
