I'm glad you liked the idea. I also love Methos when he's so very competent but disturbingly amoral. Good? Bad? Both? Neither? However, since I love him so much and he's so very versatile, I see him everywhere. There are always stories that can have him in it. Way too many stories for me to actually write, sadly. Thus, the reason for this livejournal: sending these plot bunnies out there to attack other people. Would you like to write more? If you write me one scene, I'll try to write the next.
Also, I had to look it up, but apparently the word is "tenterhooks" and goes back to 14th century weaving. From the descriptions, being on tenterhooks would be a lot more painful than the modern common usage implies. Language is a wondrous thing.
