That would be hilarious. Plus, there'd be all these other Immortals closely watching the situation. Some are trying to find Methos while others are watching the translations to make sure that they're not mentioned. Eventually, a really optimistic/idiotic Immortal decides that everyone would take the idea of Immortals really well, based on their enthusiasm about the journals. After all, surely they'd be really happy to know that this person is real and probably still around, right? Soon there's a global search for the author of the journals, after which Methos might decide to leave Earth if anyone gets close, only beaming back for the occasional family reunion. Or maybe he hasn't given back the StarGate yet.
